2026 Paul Harris Dinner

The Gloucester Rotary has named Dr. Michael Sarraf and Serena Low as Paul Harris Fellows, the prestigious award named after the Chicago lawyer who founded the Rotary movement in 1905. Sarraf was selected by a Club committee of previous recipients of the award, while Low was chosen by members of the Gloucester High School Interact Club, the very active group of Junior Rotarians. Sarraf and Low will be honored at the Paul Harris Distinguished Service Award Dinner on June 10, 2026, at Cruiseport Gloucester, located at 6 Rowe Square in downtown Gloucester. The event will begin with a social hour at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner at 6:30 pm.
Michael Sarraf graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2000. After a general practice residency in St. Joseph Hospital, Sarraf acquired Mina Dental Associates in Gloucester in 2004. He joined the Gloucester Rotary in 2005 and served on the Board of Directors and as the President 2022-2023. Dr. Mike, as he’s known in the Club, has received several state and regional awards in recognition of his business prowess and service to the Rotary cause. Mike and his wife live in Middleton with their two children.
Serena Low earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Salem State College in 1992, and has spent over thirty years in the financial services industry. She currently serves as Partner, Director of Client Care, and Financial Advisor at Beauport Financial Services. Serena has been an active members of the Gloucester Rotary since 2015, serving as the Rotary Advisor to the Gloucester High School Interact Club and a member of the Board of Directors with expectations of taking the Club presidency in 2031-2032. She serves as Board Treasurer for Associated Charities of Gloucester and has been involved with the Gloucester Education Foundation for over ten years, serving as President in 2021-2023. Serena has demonstrated a deep and lasting commitment to giving back to the community she calls home. Serena enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, sharing skiing, boating, scuba diving, and traveling.
Tickets to the Paul Harris Distinguished Service Award Dinner are $60 per person and may be reserved by contacting event Chair Steve Kaity at 978-879-1051. The dinner is open to the public and friends and colleagues of Sarraf and Low are encouraged to attend this festive celebration of service.
